I have to say that La Hacienda of Hilton Head is the Mexican restaurant we visit most often We have always enjoyed the food. The service is very good. With that said... It is impossible to buy groceries on the south end of Hilton Head without getting a coupon for La Hacienda printed on the back of your receipt. When we remember to take the coupons to the restaurant, we use them. We have never had a problem. Last night we visited with a coupon. When we attempted to pay we were told that the coupon was not valid as it was happy hour and drinks were reduced. We always visit La Hacienda about the same time. Almost always happy hour. Coupons have never been refused before. We carefully read the coupon. Tthere was nor mention of any exclusions. We ordered two meals and two drinks as required. In the scheme of life five dollars is nothing. We will probably return to La Hacienda in the future. But then again, Mi Tierra and Fiesta Fresh less than a minute from La Hacienda.
